PeakPilot

PeakPilot for installers

Turn a technical quote into a substantiated energy proposal.

Test PV, charging infrastructure and battery storage against the site's actual profile. Compare configurations and show what is feasible within the connection.

PeakPilot calculates grid import, export and asset behaviour on the same interval timeline.

Beyond the product specification

A suitable component does not automatically create a suitable energy system.

The outcome depends on the usage profile, grid connection and interaction between every asset on site.

  1. 01

A quote misses the time dimension

Power and annual yield do not show in which intervals a limit or peak occurs.

  2. 02

    Assets affect each other

PV, charging points and battery dispatch change the same grid import and export.

  3. 03

    The client needs substantiation

Without a scenario comparison, it remains unclear why a configuration fits this site.

Before the quote

Test the questions that determine the configuration.

Bring technical feasibility and financial assumptions together before components are committed.

01

How much charging power fits the connection?

Place arrival, departure, energy demand and simultaneity alongside the existing load.

02

Which battery option fits the objective?

Compare power, capacity, losses and operating strategy for the project.

03

What changes with PV or smart charging?

Review the effect on grid import, export, peak load and energy costs.

From site to proposal

Configure with the data that matters in practice.

Use the site as the baseline and make component choices visible as separate scenarios.

Combine measurements and profiles

Import interval data or define an explicit profile for planned load or generation.

Configure assets for the project

Set up PV, EV charging and battery storage using the technical parameters in the proposal.

Respect grid connection limits

Assess import and export separately and see when a scenario reaches the configured limit.

Compare options side by side

Use the same data, contract assumptions and financial baseline for each configuration.

Method

From site data to a substantiated proposal.

Define the site

Import load and generation and configure the grid connection and energy contract.

Create configuration options

Add the proposed PV, charging or battery assets with project-specific parameters.

Discuss the differences

Use grid impact, energy flows and financial outcomes to support the quote.

With the quote

Give the client insight into the choice, effect and assumptions.

A simulation shows which scenario was offered and which project data supports it.

01

Connection capacity check

Visibility into decisive intervals and potential exceedances.

02

Configuration comparison

An overview of the effect of different asset options.

03

Supporting report

Project inputs, assumptions and outcomes as an appendix to the proposal.

FAQ

Questions before choosing this workflow.

Can I create a proposal without complete interval data?

For an exploratory scenario, you can use an explicit profile. Record its source and uncertainty and update the scenario when measured interval data becomes available.

Can I compare different brands or models?

Yes. Create one scenario per model and use the technical values from its product specification, so differences in power, capacity and efficiency remain visible.

Does PeakPilot support PV, EV charging and batteries in one project?

Yes. These assets can be modelled with load and the grid connection on the same interval timeline.

Are battery losses and degradation included?

The battery model supports charging and discharging efficiency, standby loss and annual degradation. Use project-specific values from the technical documentation.

Can I include fixed and dynamic contracts?

Yes. Configure the contract and tariffs for the project and always verify that the data is current and applicable.

Is the outcome a savings or return guarantee?

No. It is a model estimate based on entered data, performance, costs and tariffs. Contract and investment terms must be verified separately.

Substantiate the next configuration before you offer it.

Start with site data and compare PV, charging and battery storage using the same baseline.
